CALL FOR PAPERS FOR THE:
6th INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON THE TEACHING OF LOGIC
"Materials and Strategies"

to be held in conjunction with the

XII National Congress of Philosophy
University of Guadalajara
GUADALAJARA, MEXICO
26th, 27th & 28th, NOVEMBER, 2003.

OBJECTIVES: To share materials and strategies to improve the teaching of Logic at any academic level. To help develop research projects for teaching Logic and to create new materials for teaching Logic. To extend the didactic resources and logical knowledge of the participants. To network people interested in Logic and its teaching (professors, researchers, students, etc.).

TOPICS: Materials for teaching Logic, Strategies for teaching Logic.

WORK MODALITIES: Presentations. Keynote Addresses. Workshops. Presentation and sale of publications and materials for teaching Logic. Exhibition of videos.

PAPER PROPOSALS: Abstracts must be received by September 30th, 2003. The Evaluation Committee will confirm acceptance by 10th, October 2003. Proposals must include on a separate page the following data: Name of the author(s), academic degree, institution, electronic address, postal address, telephone, and preferred way to be notified of acceptance. Send abstracts to: tdl@servidor.unam.mx.

FINISHED PAPERS: Finished papers should be up to 10 pages long, in MSWord format, including an abstract and a list of the equipment needed for its presentation. Send finished papers to: tdl@servidor.unam.mx.

DEADLINE FOR FINISHED PAPERS: November 15th, 2003.

LANGUAGE: Lectures will be given in Spanish; only in exceptional cases lectures in other languages will be authorized.
