Áreas de Investigación: filosofía aplicada (medicina, agricultura y medio ambiente), filosofía política (esp. justicia contributiva), ética, propiedad material e inmaterial.

En 2007 recibí el titulo de Magister Artium de la Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Múnich después de escribir una tesis sobre los problemas éticos en trasplantes de órganos de donantes vivos. Dos años más tarde ingresé al departamento de filosofía aplicada de Wageningen University (Países Bajos). Ahí trabajé en mi tesis titulada “Life Sciences, Intellectual Property Regimes and Global Justice”, recibiendo el título de doctor en filosofía en Noviembre 2013. Durante el mismo periodo fui también investigador en el Centre for Society and the Life Sciences de la Radboud University en Nijmegen y miembro de la Escuela Neerlandesa de Investigación en Filosofía (OZSE). Parte de mi investigación doctoral fue llevada a cabo como investigador visitante en la Universidad de Manchester y la Fundación Brocher en Ginebra.

Durante el año académico 2013/14 fui investigador posdoctoral en el Jacques Loeb Centre for History and Philosophy of the Life Sciences de la Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, trabajando en temas relacionados a ética y políticas agrarias.

En el Instituto de Investigaciones Filosóficas dedico mi tiempo a problemas de justicia global en políticas de ciencias y agricultura.

Main research areas: applied philosophy (health, agriculture and environment), political philosophy (esp. contributive justice), ethics, tangible and intellectual property.

In 2007 I received a Magister Artium degree from the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich after writing a thesis on ethical issues around living-donor organ transplantations. Two years later I joined the Applied Philosophy Group at Wageningen University. Here I worked on my dissertation titled “Life Sciences, Intellectual Property Regimes and Global Justice”, earning a doctoral degree November 2013. During the same period of time I was also a researcher at the Dutch Centre for Society and the Life Sciences at the Radboud University in Nijmegen and a member of the Dutch Research School of Practical Philosophy (OZSE). Part of my doctoral research was undertaken as a visiting scholar at the University of Manchester and the Fondation Brocher in Geneva.

During the academic year 2013/14 I was a post-doctoral researcher at the Jacques Loeb Centre for History and Philosophy of the Life Sciences at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, working on issues related to agricultural ethics and policy.

My research at the Instituto de Investigaciones Filosóficas deals with problems of global justice in science policy and agriculture.
