Me especializo en filosofía de la ciencia, filosofía de la lógica y epistemología de la ciencia. Mis intereses se extienden a la historia de la ciencia y las lógicas no clásicas.
Actualmente mi investigación consiste en explorar las conexiones que existen entre la comprensión, tanto científica como filosófica, y el uso racional de información defectuosa en las ciencias y la filosofía.
Antes de incorporarme al Instituto como investigadora postdoctoral, fui investigadora postdoctoral en Centrale Lille (Francia) y en la Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (Brasil). Obtuve el Doctorado en Filosofía de la Ciencia en la UNAM y la Licenciatura en Filosofía en la Universidad Veracruzana.

I work mainly in general philosophy of science and philosophical logic. My interests extend into the history of science and non-classical logics. My current research focuses on studying the connections between understanding and the rational use of defective information in science and philosophy.
Before joining the Institute, I worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Centrale de Lille (France) and at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). I got a PhD in philosophy of science from UNAM, and a BA in philosophy from the Universidad Veracruzana.
