"I obtained my PhD at Ghent University in September 2012. For my thesis, "Tolerating Normative Conflics in Deontic Logic", I developed a number of non-monotonic deontic logics that consistently allow for the  presence of full-fledged normative conflicts, e.g. moral dilemmas.

I am interested in all topics related to philosophical logic and the formalization of human reasoning. My research interests include modal logic, paraconsistent logic, non-monotonic logic, and logics of action.
As a postdoctoral fellow at UNAM, I am working on the formalization of abductive reasoning patterns."
